Hbcubustours.com was created out of blackcollegebustour.com. Over the twenty eight years we have placed students into historically black colleges and universities, we realized there was a lack of connection between young adults, high schools and communities with HBCU’s. Overall our students were not prepared for college nor does the community understand the great services offered by HBCU’s. As a member we ask you to invite as many of your families, friends, high schools, churches, and any organizations that are interested in putting young adults into college.

In recent years, certain Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have been forced to close or merge with other schools because of financial and management issues. For example in 2002, one of the oldest and most famed HBCUs - Morris Brown College - lost its accreditation and could no longer confer degrees. This short documentary explores the current state of HBCUs in society today from the perspective of HBCU presidents and students.
